Abstract
Under the background of new liberal arts and extensive foreign language education, foreign language education plays a crucial role in cultivating high-end compound talents with "Chinese Heart and Global Vision." However, influenced by many historical factors, there are still many problems in current foreign language education, such as the lack of national consciousness and cultivation of foreign language communication ability, the "Aphasia of Chinese culture" in textbooks, and the incompetence of educators. To better serve national strategies, the foreign language education community must adopt a problem-oriented approach and address challenges on several fronts: first, top-level design and comprehensive planning to deepen talent cultivation goals; second, accelerating textbook development and establishing a textbook perspective that serves national strategies; third, advancing the integration of ideological and political education in courses to enhance the awareness and effectiveness of educators.
