Abstract
In the era of intelligent media, the rapid iteration of technology has led to a trend of spatiotemporal integration in the forms of technological carriers, technological construction paradigms, and technological application methods. This spatiotemporal integration has given rise to diverse possibilities of spatial freedom and the visual appeal of form and meaning interplay. With advancements in technologies such as IMAX, VR, and sensors, the digital foundation of ideological and political education has been reshaped, creating a more distinctive spatiotemporal composite field for this discipline. This provides a unique perspective for the development, implementation, feedback, and optimization of ideological and political education. Building upon the spatiotemporal integration of ideological and political education in the intelligent media era, analyzing its intrinsic characteristics, targeted issues, and optimization pathways is essential to shift from "passive reception" to "active engagement" in ideological and political education. This also holds guiding significance for practical work in ideological and political education, enabling it to "strengthen its core, broaden its scope, and enhance its effectiveness" within the spatiotemporal composite field, further amplifying its guiding influence.
