Research on the Application of Comprehensive Evaluation Theory and Method in Discipline Evaluation

  • As a special category of educational evaluation in the field of higher education, discipline evaluation is a multi-factor comprehensive evaluation problem, which conforms to the-characteristics of multi-index comprehensive evaluation. The application of combination evaluation in multi-dimensional evaluation of disciplines is a trend in the development of discipline evaluation. Based on the framework of the fifth round of subject evaluation index system issued by the Ministry of Education, this article constructs a three-level evaluation index system of philosophy and social sciences combined with their characteristic indicators. Then, the article uses expert evaluation method and fuzzy mathematics theory and methods to quantify and standardize the indicator data, and determines the indicator weight through subjective and objective combination weighting method. Finally, a full process combination evaluation method for philosophy and social sciences is proposed based on expert evaluation method, Analytic Hierarchy Process, and BP artificial neural network evaluation method combined with fuzzy thinking and theory. This study provides a new method and path for the application of combination evaluation theory system in specific subject evaluation, enriching the theoretical system of subject evaluation.
