Abstract
Young people suffer from mental health problems of varying degrees in the stress state of COVID-19. How to reshape the mental health of young people in the post-epidemic era has become an urgent task at present. As a special intervention channel, aesthetic education can provide young people with a way to recognize the epidemic, a window for emotional catharsis and a support for uplifting their spirits. In the post-epidemic era, public opinion should be firmly guided by focusing on narrative transmission according to the psychological state of young people, stimulating emotional experience, enhancing humanistic care, enlightening life education and boosting endogenous power to cultivate the positive psychological quality of young people. In addition, with the social public yearning for a better life, aesthetic education should actively play the role of “governing from the heart”, so as to enhance the aesthetic quality of young people, enhance the psychological toughness of social groups, and enable the modernization of national governance.
