The Theoretical Logic and Practical Way of the Whole Process of People's Democracy

The whole process of people’s democracy is one of the essential requirements of Chinese modernization, and it is a democratic form that the Communist Party of China has explored in the practice of governance and is suitable for China’s national conditions. Throughout the development of people’s democracy, we must uphold the organic unity of Party leadership, the running of the country by the people, and law-based governance. We will uphold the principal position of the people, and strengthen the “people’s character” of people’s democracy in the whole process by giving expression to their will, protecting their rights and interests, as well as stimulating their creativity. We should improve the system of institutions for the people to be masters of the country, expand their orderly participation in political affairs, strengthen institutional guarantees with the socialist rule of law as the starting point, achieve the operational objectives of “all-round democratic coverage” and “orderly democratic process with effective results”, and always implement people’s democracy in the whole process of building the socialist political system.
