A Study on the Pathways’ Optimization and Their Interactive Drives Under Culture Promotion

  • On the basis of the investigation of culture promotion in UK, the paper tries to make clear the connotative features and different strategic requirements for the pathways of culture promotion, through the interactive study between the pathways and strategies in culture promotion. Thus a solid foundation may be laid for earlier planning of strongly-targeted, effectively-measured, and well-effective culture promotion. Culture promotion is divided into two levels, where external image, cultural elements and cultural activities constitute the first-level category, and culture communication through media, tourism enhancement and academic exchanges the second. The first leads and drives while the second follows and pushes. If the divide is erased between the two, the implicit corresponding relations between the six categories in question suggest that external image, cultural activities, tourism enhancement well highlight the government’s planning, leading and exampling while cultural elements, culture communication through media, academic exchanges beautify the people’s following, solidifying and supporting. This two-aspect interaction means that co-endeavourings of the government and the people are fully exerted to keep culture promotion moving ahead, with the government as the leader and the people the body.
