Abstract
Engineering technology and information technology are advancing by leaps and bounds, and China’s engineering undergraduate teaching system urgently needs updating to meet the new requirements of the times. This paper starts from the characteristics of engineering undergraduate majors, draws on the design ideas of similar professional teaching systems in Western countries, combines the common problems and objective environmental constraints in current teaching in China, and makes full use of the advantages of information technology and proposes multi-dimensional feedback teaching system for engineering undergraduate majors under information technology. The teaching system is composed of five parts, namely, curriculum structure, teacher configuration, teaching methods, teaching environment and innovation mechanism. Each department is related to each other. Each part is designed with a dynamic feedback adjustment mechanism to ensure that the teaching system has the function of automatic iteration and update.. Among them, the curriculum structure is recommended to be composed of 30% of general courses (including 10% of humanities courses), 20% of professional basic courses, 20% of professional theory courses, 20% of practical courses, and 10% of innovation courses. At the same time, the teachers in the school should go to the frontline to work on the job and participate in the first-line project; the teaching method should integrate new information technology such as AR/VR technology, simulation experiment, and on-site simulation with traditional teaching methods, case methods, etc. The teaching environment should pay attention to the division and collaboration of the classroom environment, virtual environment and on-site environment, and give full play to the linking role of the virtual environment. The innovation mechanism should be based on the integration of innovative ideas in daily teaching and unblocking innovation channels outside of class, and provide innovative incentives.
