Research on the Setting of General Education Curriculum System Setting in Universities with Electric Characteristics

  • General education, as an important part of higher education, is of great significance for cultivating students' scientific literacy. The general education course is the main carrier for achieving the goal system of talents training. In recent years, domestic universities have actively explored the construction of a general education course system, but the effect is still greatly restricted to a certain extent. The paper investigates the setting of general education course systems of eight characteristic universities in the Power University Alliance. The commonalities and shortcomings have been analyzed and summarized in the course of general education. The relationship between general courses and specialized courses, the construction of general courses and effective management were discussed.
