Suggestions on Strengthening the Ideological and Political Education of Young Students under the New SituationTake China-US relations as an example

The United States has launched an all-around competition with China in the fields of economy, science and technology, and made use of the COVID-19, the South China Sea, Xinjiang and other issues to deliberately provoke Sino-US relations, which has aroused high attention among young students. Young students' cognition of Sino-American issues, to a certain extent, reflects the characteristics of their thinking on national affairs, among which some groups have misunderstandings or deviations. It is the key link to do a good job in the ideological education of young students to grasp the ideological change timely. Therefore, the main direction of ideological and political education should strengthen the correct guidance of public opinion to young students, enhance the attraction of ideological and political education courses, and implement the supervision and management of ideological and political education courses.
