Research on the Motivation Structure and Risk Prevention and Control of Youth's Participation in Mass Incidents in the Era of "We Media"

  • This study selected more than 1200 college students from 5 universities in Hebei Province as the research object, and carried out the investigation and research on the motivation structure and risk prevention and control of contemporary youth in network group events. The study found that young people usually participate in network group events as "non-high input participants". Thea are lack of understanding of network group events but can exert their strong influence while paying full attention to social hot events. The frequent occurrence of network group events is driven by internal motivation and external inducement, among which the external inducement includes the lack of channels for the masses to express their demands, the lack of management of the network supervision department, and the operation of the network platform commercial hype and indulgence, etc. The lack of self-media social literacy and self-media "master" is the main internal motivation for the disorderly participation of young people in network mass events. Based on this, this paper, from the interactive games of four forces of government, youth, self-media and media, to explore the construction of a variety of network mass incident prevention and control system and put forward reasonable reference suggestions.
