The Changes and Reflections on Chinese Revolutionary Narrative Education in Recent Years

  • In recent years, the changes and development of revolutionary narratives in the educational field have become phenomenally worthy of attention. Promoted by the government from top to bottom, revolutionary narrative activities in the educational field present a prosperous scene, and the theme and interpretation of revolutionary narratives have changed significantly in educational practice activities. At the same time, revolutionary narratives and related educational activities are also facing many challenges. On the one hand, its educational and social effects need to be evaluated, On the other hand, the principle of narrative authenticity is entangled with the worries of historical nihilism. Deconstruction and reconstruction, the realistic contradiction between opening and closing, and the differences between the narrative functions of school revolution and folk revolution are all the problems faced by the educational practice of revolutionary narrative. This requires us to actively face nihilism and deconstruction, meet the challenges with cultural self-confidence, control historical and revolutionary narratives with the integrity principle of Marxism, adhere to the principle of openness, and to guide revolutionary narrative with socialist core values.
