Study on Response to Online Public Opinion Events in Colleges and Universities in the Era of We-mediaA Case Study of J University in Beijing As An Example

  • With the development of mobile network and the popularization of intelligent communication equipments, we-media era has come. With the development of we-media, the network public opinion of colleges and universities has generated new features. In the era of "we-media", public opinion develops rapidly, spreads widely and has great influence. The management objects of colleges and universities, namely, college students, are not mature yet and tend to bring emotional conflicts on the network platform. Moreover, compared with the past, such conflicts are greatly out of control. The reason lies in that the information communication and feedback channels are not unobstructed in colleges and universities. From the overall level of managers, colleges and universities lack systematic and conscious initiative in handling online public opinion information. In terms of coping measures, efforts should be made to open up diversified internal information feedback channels. In addition, a network public opinion research, judgment and processing system should be established on the basis of its own advantages. Therefore, a combination of measures can be used to make good use of and solve the public opinions on the Internet in colleges and universities.
