  • In recent years, energy poverty alleviation has increasingly become a global issue, which has attracted the attention of academia, governments and regional and world organizations. A comparative analysis of hot issues at home and abroad will contribute to further theoretical research and practical exploration in the field of energy poverty alleviation in China. In this paper, 1779 Chinese and English literatures are clustered and analyzed based on citespace software to explore the research frontiers and hotspots at home and abroad. Foreign scholars' research in the field of energy poverty alleviation is bounded by 2007, developing towards globalization and internationalization, and attaching importance to micro-subjects and ecological environment issues. Domestic energy poverty alleviation research is discussed from the aspects of rural energy development, energy poverty alleviation practice, energy poverty alleviation and ecological environment, new energy and precise poverty alleviation.
