Abstract: Big data technology is widely used in the industrial and commercial industry, but in the process of think tank construction, it also faced problems from the demand side, supply side, as well as environment, which hinders its core advantage. The cause of the problems is that difficulties exist in big data technology itself, interdisciplinary research, and innovating ideas of social governance, etc. The ideas to solve these problems are as follows: strengthen the application research of big data technology and break through the “last kilometer” obstacle, encourage the interdisciplinary exploration and application of big data, increase the training of big data crossover and application talents, strengthen top-level design and relevant laws and regulations and improve the big data literacy of relevant government departments.
