Abstract: Analytical Marxism uses analytic philosophy and metaethics to interpret Marx’s texts, debates on whether there is a moral element in Marx’s theoretical system or whether Marx is an anti-moralist, and attempts to construct a “reasonable” moral theory. Its interpretation is mired in a plausible Marxist “moral paradox” because of the limitations of strict “dichotomies” and methodological individualism. Through Marx’s text and beyond the two different abstractions of Western moral metaphysics tradition and modern analytic philosophy and meta-ethical methods, we can vigorously analyze its methods, viewpoints, and arguments, so as to eliminate Marx’s “moral paradox” problem and present the true Marx's moral theory.
