Abstract: In the process of promoting in-depth strict governance of the Party, the Party's political discipline has not only been highly valued by the Party Central Committee, but also become a hot topic of concern to the academic community. Based on the "core periodicals" and "CSSCI" of China Knowledge Network, the paper uses the literature measurement method and CiteSpace document visualization software to grasp the overall situation of the political discipline research of the Communist Party of China from the aspects of external performance and internal evolution.Externally, the number of articles issued, the author of the articles, the institutions and periodicals of the Party's political discipline are analyzed. Internally, CiteSpace is used as a research tool to map and analyze the knowledge of the Party's political discipline research, to explore hot topics, and to reveal cutting-edge trends. Finally, on the basis of the overall overview, this paper summarizes the weaknesses of the Party's political discipline research and explores the space for further expansion and optimization.
