Abstract: Deng Xiaoping's ruling party thought is not a simple inheritance of Marxist ruling party ideology, nor is it a copy of Western party governance theory, but a theoretical innovation combined with the social and historical conditions of reform and opening up. The characteristics of Deng Xiaoping's ruling party ethics are mainly manifested in three dimensions: the internal reform, the opening up and the long-term ruling as the basic point of the party's strict governance; the "party must manage the party" as the basic path; and the core of a strong leadership building with two civilizations is the goal of the party. Deng Xiaoping’s ruling party ideology reflects the law of strict administration of the party under the conditions of reform and opening up and long-term ruling, and can provide a reference for the comprehensive management of the party in the new era.
