Abstract: The educationist spirit, with its profound educational sentiments, outstanding educational philosophies, and continuous innovative educational practices, provides strong spiritual motivation for the growth of college counselors and serves as invaluable spiritual wealth for their professional development. This spirit can solidify counselors' lofty educational ideals and professional aspirations, strengthen their professional ethics and conduct, expand their educational knowledge and nurturing skills, and enhance their humanistic care and student service awareness. At present, Chinese colleges and universities should be driven by the educationist spirit to stimulate counselors' internal motivation for self-growth and improve their professional competence, guided by this spirit to clarify counselors' growth goals and orientations and build a systematic framework for their professional development, centered on this spirit to enhance the practical effectiveness of counselors' work, and benchmarked against this spirit to reinforce their sense of dedication and responsibility, thereby continuously elevating their level of professional ethics.
