Abstract: Vico's New Science mainly discusses the science of man. Vico adheres to the principle of "truth is creation", and believes that human beings can have a scientific understanding of the world they have created. Guided by this principle, Vico explores the origin of human society, the common nature of human beings, and the process of human history. Human society is created by human beings themselves, and its origin can be traced back to the poetic wisdom of human beings. Vico focuses on the common nature of human beings and makes many aspects. The process of human history presents three stages: the age of god, the age of heroes and the age of man, and it will also reversion. Vico's New Science provides a theoretical basis for how Human Studies is possible, and occupies an important position in the history of Human Studies.
