Abstract: Teachers undertake the sacred mission of "preaching, teaching and solving doubts". They are important organizers and implementors of training new people who take on the great task of national rejuvenation, and are important forces to promote the construction of a powerful country in education. After the 20th Party Congress, Universities should continue to promote the solid construction of teaching staff, guided by the standards of "four good teachers" and "four guiders" presented by General Secretary Xi Jinping. Universities also should strengthen teachers' ideological and political work as the focus, persist in inheritance and innovation, cultivate more "Mr Big" with "four good teachers" and "four guiders" characteristics in the new era.
