Abstract:
Patrick Modiano is the only writer who has won Le Prix Goncourt and The Nobel Prize in literature until now. His representative work
Rue des Boutiques Obscures tells a story of self-search and self- identification. The author uses postmodern writing skills to convey the worries and reconstruction of postwar humanistic spirit, and reflects the survival dilemma and psychological crisis of all living beings in real life with the image of a “nobody” with Amnesia. Modiano as one of the representatives of “The New Fable”, combines historical memory and life philosophy into the novel structure, made up of fragmented narration, and reveals the richness of life and the depth of thought with poetic language and imaginative blank.
