Abstract: The formation of Deng Xiaoping Theory is closely related to his unique mode of thinking. This unique mode of thinking is an important thinking guarantee for his theoretical thinking, formulating and establishing correct lines, guidelines, and policies, opening up the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and establishing Deng Xiaoping Theory. Deng Xiaoping’s mode of thinking has five distinct basic features of pragmatism, practical experience, autonomy, openness, and comprehensiveness.
