Abstract:
Optimizing the supply of welfare for the aged in rural areas is of strategic significance. It can alleviate poverty and increase the sense of gain and happiness of the aged in rural areas. At present, the development of welfare for the aged in rural areas is faced with many difficulties: large scale of demand and insufficient supply, conflicts between government preference for supply and demand of welfare for the aged in rural areas, structural imbalance of welfare supply for the aged in rural areas, and inefficient supply of welfare system for the aged in rural areas. It is particularly urgent to examine the issue of welfare supply for the aged in rural areas with supply-side reform as orientation, pay attention to the real needs of the aged in rural areas, optimize the system and structure of welfare supply for the aged in rural areas, enhance the synergy and sustainability of welfare supply for the aged in rural areas, and improve the quality and efficiency of welfare supply for the aged in rural areas.
